James M. Wiggins, Ph.D., Editor and Publisher |
Jim Wiggins is the driving force behind the V.I.P. Address Book. Dr. Wiggins has more than 15 years experience as a newspaper reporter and editor and an additional 15 years experience as an editor of national magazines. He has worked as a reporter, editor and bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times, a senior editor for the National Enquirer and editor of national magazines for the American Association of Retired Persons and the Irvine Company. He served as Director of Communications and Foundation Relations for Claremont McKenna College, part of the prestigious Claremont College group. Dr. Wiggins has a BA. in international relations from Vanderbilt University, a MS in journalism from University of California at Los Angeles, a MA in state and local government from University of California at Berkeley, an MBA in management from Pepperdine University and a Ph.D. in education from University of California at Los Angeles. He is a former consultant to the California State Legislature. He is a former Ford Foundation Fellow and is editor of the book Business-Government Relations, a book published by International Telephone & Telegraph. |

Adele M. Cooke, President and Managing Editor |
Adele Cooke has more than 20 years in the human resources and budgeting and financial planning fields. Most recently she has worked in the finance and retail business. She has worked for Esprit de Corp. (a fashion company); L.A. Gear (an athletic shoe company), Leland O'Brien Rubinstein Associates (a risk management company); The Capital Group (a money management company) and California State University at Los Angeles (the largest school in the California state college system). She also has been a consultant for companies such as Jardine Insurance Brokers, Noah's New York Bagels, Jamba Juice, Crowell Weedon Stock Brokerage helping them identify systems, write benefit communications and develop comparable pay and benefit programs. She has written numerous articles for journals in the personnel field. |

Mike Maloy, Vice President of Technical Affairs |
Mike spent his career supervising professional software developers charged with the responsibility of maintaining large databases of personal information for major, nationwide membership organizations. After retiring, Mike joined Associated Media Companies as a technical advisor and develops the proprietary software we use for maintenance of our database and its integration into our publishing software. |

LeeAnn Nelson, Design Director |
With more than 20 years of graphic design experience, LeeAnn brings a great range of strengths to her work with Associated Media Companies. LeeAnn is the founder and principal of Nelson Design, where she specializes in publications, catalogues, advertising, and corporate identity. Her clients range from large corporate entities like Fender Musical Instruments and MediaNews Group, to smaller community-based organizations such as the California History Center and the Sonoma County Museum. Before founding Nelson Design, LeeAnn was Creative Director at a San Francisco Bay Area magazine publishing company where she and her staff produced six magazines each month – she’s no stranger to short deadlines. She has a degree in journalism from Pepperdine University, which has heavily influenced her philosophy that graphic design should communicate the message, not decorate the message. |

Rawn Rhoades, Web Design |
Rawn Rhoades is the Head Graphic Designer for both web and print mediums at Forward Management and ReFlow (based in San Francisco, CA). His path to graphic design was not an expected one. He graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1987 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Computer Information Systems after having changed his major from Hotel and Restaurant Hospitality. He started out in the business world in financial companies and has remained there every since with a short diversion with an online events registration company. It was with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Online that he dabbled with HTML design which happened to be his launching pad for his current career of choice. It is his hobbies of photography, landscape design and just about everything creatively done with his hands that make HTML and advertising design his favorite landing pad. Rawn has been with Forward Management since 2001. |
